Metro No. 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien will run 7 trains from July 1

In the first 3 months from July 1 to September 30, Ho Chi Minh City metro line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) is expected to operate 7 trains (3-car type).


On April 1, according to the latest updated plan in the operation plan for metro line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) of Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway No. 1 Company Limited (HURC1), there will be 7 delegations. The ship will operate in July 2024

 

Specifically, in phase 1, in the first 3 months from July 1 to September 30, metro line No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) is expected to operate 7 trains (3-car type). The first trip departs at 5:00 a.m. and the latest at 10:00 p.m. every day. Time interval of 8 - 10 minutes per trip.

 

Phase 2 (from October 1 to December 31), metro No. 1 will operate 12 3-car trains on weekdays. Spare 6-8 minutes per trip during peak hours. Train time runs from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Particularly on weekends, holidays, and Tet, metro No. 1 operates 9 3-car trains with similar operating hours.

 

Phase 3 (from January 1, 2025 onwards), metro line No. 1 will operate according to the initial investment design capacity.

 

 

 

 

At the information and propaganda workshop on preparations for commercial operation of urban railway line No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) held on March 29, the Urban Railway Management Board Ho Chi Minh City Market said that if everything goes smoothly, the project can be put into the ticket-free exploitation phase from July to October 2024 and commercial exploitation in the fourth quarter of 2024. .
