LEGO is preparing to recruit workers to operate the factory in Binh Duong. In the immediate future, about 100 people will be recruited in the last months of 2023 and will increase to 500 people in 2024.

This information was announced by LEGO Group leaders at the recent project visit by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai.

 

According to LEGO Group leaders, currently about 2,000 workers are participating in building the factory every day and the number of workers is expected to double by the end of this year. In parallel with construction activities, LEGO also began preparing labor and personnel to operate the factory.

 

The group is preparing to recruit 100 employees in 2023 and 500 employees by the end of 2024 to ensure production in the second half of 2024. The employees will be responsible for operating modern technological machinery. for many processes such as molding, processing, and packaging when the factory comes into operation.

 

 

 

 

Currently, there are more than 2,000 construction workers working directly at the factory, this number will double by the end of 2023.

 

“The factory has made good progress since the groundbreaking ceremony in November 2022. The group has built an energy center, 110kV transformer station, manufacturing, molding, packaging and automated warehouse buildings on 44 hectares of land," LEGO said.

 

 

 

 

Among them, there are 5 buildings with a total area of ​​about 150,000 m2. These buildings include an office building, an energy center, a manufacturing building, injection molding, packaging and an automated warehouse.

 

The factory construction project at Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III) in Binh Duong province of the LEGO Group was started in November 2022. With a total investment of 1 billion USD, this is the largest investment project implemented by a Danish enterprise in Vietnam; It is expected to create 4,000 jobs when it goes into operation in 2024.

 

 

 

 

Built on a 44-hectare land area, the size of which is equivalent to 62 football fields, the factory is introduced as a place that applies the most advanced technology to mold, process and package LEGO products.
