Talking to "Tuoi Tre Online" on February 13, Mr. Dinh Viet Son - deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam - said that the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam had informed the aviation authorities of countries and territories from February 15, Vietnam. lifted restrictions on operating frequency with international flights, returning to  normal as before the COVID-19 pandemic.


From January 1, 2022, Vietnam has reopened regular international routes with a number of countries and territories, but still limits the frequency of operations according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control of the National Steering Committee for Preventive Medicine. , against the COVID-19 epidemic.


From February 15, Vietnam will not limit the frequency of regular international passenger flights, but according to Mr. Son, regulations on entry and epidemic prevention for passengers entering Vietnam will still follow. the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health.


"No matter how many flights you can fly from Vietnam to other countries, you still have to comply with the regulations of each country. Currently, Japan and South Korea still restrict entry on flights from Vietnam to prevent them. Translate.

To China, although Vietnam has proposed, so far they have not agreed to operate regular flights with Vietnam "- Mr. Son said.


On February 11, the Ministry of Transport sent an official dispatch to assign the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to actively evaluate and discuss with aviation authorities of countries and territories to decide to resume regular international passenger flights. with markets that had direct flights to Vietnam before the COVID-19 epidemic.


From January 1, 2022, Vietnam has operated regular flights carrying passengers from markets including the US, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Taipei, Singapore, Australia, Russia, UK, France and Germany.


However, due to the requirements of the aviation authorities of countries, territories and passenger demand, the frequency of these routes is less than before the COVID-19 epidemic.
